Some stories need

Picture a table in Montréal. There are pencils, paintbrushes, coffee cups, and quite possibly a baguette where the ruler should be. That is the spirit behind Pinecone Portrait: warm, curious and attentive to the small things that make people themselves.
Families do not always live in the same city. Children grow. Pets move the instant the camera comes out. We start with the photos you have, then work with you on a picture that feels like the memory you want to keep.
Some portraits live on a wall. Some arrive as a file to share with everyone. Others become a hand-drawn original. The important part is the feeling when someone opens the gift and says, “That is us.”
